S'mores Trail Mix

Who doesn't love s'mores? Ooey, gooey marshmallows in between melted chocolate and graham cracker. It's the ultimate summer time snack but also can get quite messy when you have little kids. My boys LOVE s'mores, if its not during our BBQ's, it's one of their go to summer night snacks. Cleanup for a mom at the end of the day can get tiring and that's when I thought, why not make a snack mix? Fortunately for my kids, there are many things available in the market that weren't readily available in my childhood. I remember my mom had to go to the Indo/Pak grocery store to find us halal marshmallows to eat because regular marshmallows at the store had gelatin (animal product). So here's a snack great for little hands that's also mommy cleanup friendly! ;) Ingredients:

12 oz Box Graham Cereal or Teddy Grahams 10 oz Bag Miniature Vegan Marshmallows (Dandies) 12 oz Pkg Dark Chocolate Chunk Chips or Carob Chips

Dump all the ingredients into a large bowl.

Give it all a quick mix and enjoy!

Want to take it one step further?

Add them to resealable bags and give them out as Ramadan Iftaar favors. They are sure to be a hit and a great treat to take along to nightly prayers!
